Harvard Medical School - Red Wine Helpful Against Certain Cancers
RED RED WINE, stay profoundly close to me so I can enjoy "thee" in the most responsible way. Is that not a perfectly corny and catchy quasi-rendition of the famous (sometimes infamous) song that espouses the positive benefits of red wine while drinking in a responsible way?
We will cut to the chase because a second healthier is always a better life - mathematically speaking!

(No - not your Hermes belt but Harvard - and we love a good Hermes belt)
Researchers at Harvard Med School ound that:
Men who drink an average of four to seven glasses of red wine per week are only 52 percent as likely to be diagnosed with prostate cancer as those who do not drink red wine. In addition, red wine appears particularly protective against advanced or aggressive cancers."
FOUR TO 7 A WEEK - YES SO ONE A DAY - TAKE IT EASY THERE BIG BOY!
Researchers have found that men who drink an average of four to seven glasses of red wine per week are only 52% as likely to be diagnosed with prostate cancer as those who do not drink red wine, reports the June 2007 issue of Harvard Health Weatch. In addition, red wine appears particularly protective against advanced or aggressive cancers.
RED WINS THE DAY
Researchers in Seattle collected information about many factors that might influence the risk of prostate cancer in men between ages 40 and 64, including alcohol consumption. At first the results for alcohol consumption seemed similar to the findings of many earlier studies: There was no relationship between overall consumption and risk. But the scientists went one step further by evaluating each type of alcoholic beverage independently.
WINE SAVES THE DAY FOR THE PROSTATE
Here the news was surprising—wine drinking was linked to a reduced risk of prostate cancer. And when white wine was compared with red, red had the most benefit.
Keep it moderate. Keep it classy. Focus on the natural and bio wines with a certificate of organic wine (or grapes if you cannot find the former) and your body will thank you!
