Apostolos Thymiopoulos is one of the most talented and acclaimed winemakers in the world. Once completing his education from the University of Athens in oenology, he returned to his family vineyards in Naoussa and combined his formal and practical experiences that redefined Greek wine. His reinvention of classic indigenous varietal, like the Xinomavro, continues to earn him praise at the international level.

Thymiopoulos Vineyards has gained its international recognition primarily through these pioneering products: Earth & Sky, Young Vines, Rose De Xinomavro and the Atma line. These wines showcase concentrated full, healthy, ripe red fruits with balanced acidity and tannins, which moves away from the traditional Xinomavro style that consumers can enjoy now or cellar for 10-15 years.

Apostolos Thymiopoulos maintains his renowned reputation as he stays true to his philosophy by only implementing natural, organic vineyard treatments and minimalist practices. He takes pride in his artistry, however maintains humble values to ensure an evolving development of his craft.
