Karavitakis Estate is a legacy boutique winery. This family owned business has been in the wine making industry for over 80 years, situated in Pontikiana, Crete. The estate consists of 150 acres of vineyards, which is embedded within Crete's most picturesque terrain. Karavitakis Estate produces wines from local and international grape varietals and they are also experimenting with rare varieties from around the world.

The Estate features modern equipment, two tasting rooms and a small church nestled between beautiful vineyards and olive groves. 

The estate's philosophy is simple. Grow local and international grape varieties, but offer a Cretan terroir so the consumer can experience the true character of the island of Crete. Modern and natural viticultural methods are applied, which results into a selection of wines that will give you the feeling of your last visit on the beaches of Chania, Crete (just a few steps away from the aforementioned estate) or if you haven’t been there, your immediate next destination.
